Worth It

Worth It

So the other day at work, I was a part of leadership trainingWhen I came into the room with my coworkers, the first thing the trainer asked was “so, how has everyone’s January gone?” and of course, in unison, we all replied “busy!” Which is true but... She’d asked us, “well what do you think would happen if you replaced that word, that “busy” word with productive instead?”

Easier said than done right? Well, now that I’ve had some time to think about it...wrong! It’s so easy So easy to get set in our ways To get stuck in negativity or pessimism To get where you’re going, you’ve got to go at your own pace right? Right.

So since that meeting, I’d been thinking What if? What if we replaced this words with negative connotations and started using positive alternatives instead? What would happen?

I want to do this I will do this See? I was just starting another line in this post and already I’m doing it. I’m challenging myself Challenging myself to replace hard with worth it Nothing is too hard if it’s not worth it So I devoted my time to sit down and think about the things that I say on a daily

Things like :

“It’s so hard to get up in the morning” with “It’s so worth it to get up in the morning”

“It’s too hard to get done” with “It’s too worth it to not...”

“I’m trying but it’s hard” with “I’m trying but it’s worth it”

Oh and here’s my favorite...

“Life is hard”

Life Is Worth It

I’m challenging myself for the next 30 days...well 28 because it’s February...but nonetheless :)
